I could build you anything. I build on Shopify because it's what I'd put my own money on — it runs over 4 million stores worldwide, and there's a reason for that.
Shopify's checkout is the same one used by some of the biggest brands in the world. Apple Pay and Google Pay mean strangers buy from you in two taps — no bank transfer awkwardness, no "is this legit?" hesitation. The money lands in your account automatically.
Orders ping your phone like a text. Tap to fulfil, done. Change a price from the sofa. You don't need a laptop, an IT guy, or a clue about code — if you can use Instagram, you can run a Shopify store.

Pop-up shops go live within 48 hours. Full builds take 5–7 days. You see the finished store working — test it, click around, watch a test order go through — before a penny of the balance is due.
Balance paid, keys handed over. You get my plain-English guides: short walkthroughs for adding products, changing prices and fulfilling orders, written for normal people, not developers. Follow them step by step — and if you're ever stuck, you message me.

I'm Steve — I run The Dream State Limited, a registered UK web agency and Shopify Partner based in Stoke-on-Trent. I build Shopify stores for paying clients all year round: full catalogue builds, product systems, store rescues and fixes. Thirty-plus builds this year already, over a hundred projects last year. The deal, in writing
No small print games. This is exactly how working with The Dream State works. Read it before you book — it's short.
Your deposit books your build slot — £100 for a Pop-Up Shop, £400 for a Full Build. Slots are first come, first served. Work starts as soon as your deposit lands and you've sent over what I need (products, photos, prices). The remaining balance — £250 on a pop-up, £1,000 on a full build — is due on completion, after you've seen your finished store working and before it's transferred into your name.
Every build is custom and built fast. By paying your deposit you're asking me to start work on your project straight away — and once work has begun, deposits are non-refundable, because that time is already spent on you. If you cancel before I've started any work on your build, your deposit comes back in full. The balance is only ever due when your store is finished — so you are never paying for something that doesn't exist. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Each package includes exactly what's listed on this page, nothing hidden. Want extras — more products loaded, custom features, ongoing changes after handover? No problem: I'll quote it in writing before any extra work starts. You'll never get a surprise invoice from me.
The 48-hour pop-up clock and the 5–7 day full build clock start when I have everything I need from you — not from first message. If content arrives late, the timeline shifts with it. Simple as that.
You confirm you have the right to sell what you sell, and to use the photos and branding you send me. I don't build stores for counterfeit or trademarked goods — no fake kits, no official logos or club crests without a licence. That's not me being awkward: stores selling that stuff get shut down and their payments frozen, and I'm not building you something that gets taken away from you. If something in your product list looks risky, I'll flag it before we build.
Once the balance is paid, everything is yours: the store, the domain, the customer data, the money it makes. Set up in your name, in your accounts. No lock-in, no monthly fees to The Dream State, no dependency on me. You can walk away from me the day after handover and lose nothing.
Shopify charge their own monthly subscription and standard card processing fees — paid directly to Shopify, not to me. I'll walk you through exactly what they are before you commit. No. For the £1,400 build, I handle everything end to end and then train you on the simple bits — checking orders, changing a price. For the £350 pop-up, you'll need to be hands-on after handover — but you'll have my plain-English guides and a handover call, so you'll know exactly what you're doing.
Shopify charges its own monthly subscription (their basic plan, paid directly to Shopify) plus standard card processing fees on each sale. That's it — I'll walk you through it so there are no surprises. My fee is one-off.
Yes — if you get me your products and photos quickly. The 48-hour clock starts when I have what I need from you, not when you first message.
Generic fan gear (flags, party kits, unbranded merch) is fine. Anything carrying official logos, club crests or tournament trademarks needs a licence — I'll flag anything risky in your product list before we build, so you don't get your store or payments shut down.
Smart play. If you upgrade to the full build within 60 days, your £350 comes off the price.

Fair question — the internet's full of them. Here's your checklist: we're a registered UK limited company (number's in the footer — look it up on Companies House), the two stores on this page are live right now and you can go and use them, my face and name are on this page, and you only ever pay the balance after seeing your finished store with your own eyes. Scams don't work like that.
